Board Icons not updating?

I'm on SMF 2.1.4 and have uploaded a replacement boardicons.png to the default theme via FTP. The file has uploaded correctly, because if I download it again via FTP I get the new version. I uploaded it to Themes/default/images/boardicons.png.

But I'm doing something wrong, as the forum is still displaying the default?

I've tried clearing the forum cache, a refresh of my browser, a hard refresh of my browser, clearing 'Cached images and files' from Chrome browser, and tried alternative browsers.

I'm sure it's something simple, but I haven't had enough coffee yet today to work it out

PS: Same happens if I try to replace the logo image.

Solved .... I'm on a new server and I've just worked out that it has 'Edge Caching' enabled in the control panel.

I clicked on Edge Caching and then the 'purge' button. Returned to the forum, refreshed the page and the new board icons are now displaying 

You learn something every day.
