Is there a way to move topics up or down in the same category -- not to a different category.

I believe I found someplace that I can move the Categories around but nothing on the topics.

Can it be done?

No, you can move categories and boards but topics are sorted by last post (by default), and there is no built-in way to force order.

Thanks!!!

No mods?

I didn't try it but if I move the topic to another category and then move it back will it take top position or back to it's original position?

Again Thanks!!!!

Of course, stickies go to the top.

Yes, stickies are an exception - but even within multiple stickies, you can't really force order.

It will get sorted by last post.

There have been some mods that added alternative solutions, but I'm not sure if any are available for 2.1 currently.

I did find a mod that is suppose to be able to move sticky topics, but that's it so far.

So now I'm kind of stuck because of the HTTP error 500, lol I moved the topic to another category. tried to delete the topic in the original category, then tried to move the topic back and it says something like i don't have the proper authority to do that -- I was going to delet the category but I can't get there until the error is xied by my provider, if you follow, lol.
