BBCode for tables
« on: November 10, 2011, 12:53:31 PM »
I see some places that support BBCode tables with headers. This does not seem to work on my SMF 1.12 site. (Yes, sorry about that, I'm having a hard time upgrading this site.)

Also, I'd ideally like tables with lines between the cells.

Any suggestions on how to accomplish this?

Thanks!

Here's a site that supports it, for instance. http://www.teamopolis.com/tools/bbcode-table-generator.aspx

Ugh, and that TablePlus BBCode mod simply beautifies the buttons and the skeleton BBCode it inserts int oa post. No support for table headers or dividers.

I found Tabular, but that is completely old and I don't want to mess with that. Any other suggestions?

Oh yea, and NOT solved, thanks!

If you're using 1.1.15, the Tabular mod should still work fine for you. On 2.0.x it might need some tweaking since the default theme is different and the classic theme isn't included anymore.
