I do not have a demo of this, however, I could set one up, if that would be something you'd want.

Is knowledge of css required?

I attached an image of the admin panel to this post, the same image on the mods page.

No CSS skills required.
There is a dropdown box with 5 (I believe) different cursors to select.

The future version (v1.1) will include the spot for a custom cursor, which will simply require the URL of your cursor.

Have installed the mod with no errors.

However there is no text next to the ? in the admin area.

Have decided to use the hand cursor.

Would it be possible for a person to use a cursor which is within keeping to their forums theme?

KensonPlays

Nice, but I will probably let the users keep theirs...!

Try clearing your browsers cache, if that doesn't work, clear your forums cache.

Regarding your question, I am a little unsure as to what you mean...

Thank you Kcmartz, a possible update to this mod would be a permission based mod with a user toggle for their own cursor. - But this may not happen

Would be nice to see what cursors it adds, otherwise... meh

This mod is a good one IMO

The cursors are very simple and don't look out of place.

The one I use is  a hand.

The best thing to do is install the mod and if you don't like it uninstall.

I just wanted to let everyone know, I am aware of a bug that was not caught before v1.0 release.

This is being fixed in version 1.1 which will be released later today.

Version 1.1 of Change Forum Cursor released! This includes a bugfix for a text string that was left out for the admin panel label. If you have version 1.0 installed please uninstall it and install v1.1.

Note: the text string is not required for the mod to work, but an update is definitely suggested.

Labradoodle-360

installed the update with no problems.

Hi,
I want to try this mod
But I can not upload it thru packages
The error is
The package you tried to upload either is not a valid package or has become corrupted.

I upload manually to packages folder, but I can not found it in install mode

Please help me

Matthew K.

What version of SMF are you running, and which version are you trying to upload? v1.1 or v1.0?

Thanks,

Dear Lavradoodle,
SMF 1.1.11
I try for both version, same error

Matthew K.

This is most likely a problem with your system or SMF then, as v1.0 was thoroughly tested by the SMF Customization Team, as well as me... and v1.1 was tested for both versions by me with no issue's, as it's mainly a bugfix.

Edit: To confirm it's an issue with my mod, please try installing any other mod from the mod site and make sure an error does not come up.
