The above link shows a topic in which my Custom Title has been put in Bold and Coloured Green ;)

Under FF 3.6.8, it gets displayed as:

[b][green]The Lone Wanderer[/green][/b]

Any chance of this being updated for RC3??

Thanks!

I know it's been a while but it now works with SMF 2 Gold (and versions up to and including SMF 2.0.2 but should continue to work throughout the entire SMF 2.0.x life span). :)

Hm, does not seem to work afterall. :( The topic name is unformated:

[b]test[/b]

EDIT: I have 2.0.2, mod installed without any errors.

Sorck

This is for BBCode in Custom Titles, not Topic Titles.

Sorry. But i fail to understand what exactly this MOD does.
Will it give the ability to utilize the BBC Code for the subject line of the message?

No. This mod applies only to custom titles.

Custom titles, if enabled, appear below the users name.

See http://wiki.simplemachines.org/smf/Profile_features for more information about custom titles.

I think the idea behind this mod is ok, but I got 2 major complaints

1. It doesn't work in Firefox

2. You have to manually uninstall it, and while its only 2 lines of code, for a first time SMF user this stuff is hard.

My opinion is this mod need to be unapproved for download, and reworked .. just my .02 cents

I've just tested under a fresh SMF 2.03 install and it installed with no problems. My custom title rendered it's BBCode correctly. I then uninstalled through package manager with no problems, (Was testing under PHP 5.4, and using Firefox 16)

I cannot replicate your problem without manually installing in the first place.

The mod has received an update today with the following changes:
* Should work in a greater number of custom themes (I've stripped down the code that it finds and replaces on)
* Custom titles weren't being parsed in PM's for some reason but that has now been fixed

It is fully compatible with SMF 2.0.7. It should remain compatible on all of the 2.0.x line without issue. :)

Arantor

Why not just edit Load.php where it's defined in the first place?

Melons

Works like a charm, thanks for the update Sorck!  ;D
