Hello everyone, I run a website and forum (www.GaijinDrift.com/Forums) and recently, the USAF has been blocking sites with no "categories". I have inserted meta tags in the index.template.php hoping it will work and still nothing.

It was fine before until they implented their filters.

Any assistance would be great. Note: this is from a government (USAF computer) and I'm posting from my work computer right now with no problems but i just cant view my site.

Here's the message:

Access Denied (content_filter_denied)

Your request was denied because of its content categorization. Accessing the internet through a government computer or network uses a government resource. Government-provided hardware and software are for conducting official and government business. This does not prohibit commanders from authorizing personnel to use government resources to further their professional and military knowledge, if they determine it is in the best interest of the government, and authorization is documented by letter, local operating instruction, and/or explicit policy. Using the internet for unauthorized purposes may result in adverse administrative or disciplinary action. The following activities involving the use of government-provided computer hardware or software listed in AFI 133-129 and AFI 133-119 are specifically prohibited: Storing, processing, displaying, sending, or otherwise transmitting potentially offensive (i.e. hate literature, racist literature, neo-Nazi materials, etc. or sexually-harassing materials) or obscene language or materials such as pornography and other sexually-explicit materials. Is this the category tag?

<meta name="verify-v1" content="/oJ9bs/fOVmfqRgFf0TEHiW0Gks50SbeufKDg8uQivs=" />

Are you sure that the reason for your site being inaccessible was because it had no category defined? As far as I'm aware this site also has no category defined, and yet you can access it

Content categorizations does not work that way...
I bet that is a "Blue Coat" type of blocklist, that blocks content based on actual data available for the service to categorize.

For example, Blue Coat will categorize this site (http://www.simplemachines.org) like this

Quote
The page you want reviewed is http://www.simplemachines.org/   (Check another site)
This page is currently categorized as Computers/Internet
Last Time Rated/Reviewed: > 7 days

Even though H just told you this site has no categories defined.

The Deny Category: "none"   probably either specifies a custom block, or missing categorisation - so that it is blocked only because the filter has not been able to categorize the site.

EDITED TO ADD:

Blue Coat again:
