This modification will remove the top part of your forum, where the logos and the forum name are defined. This is very handy if you have your forum wrapped up inside a portal or cms.

I installed your mod on my SMF 1.1.8 but I see no change on my site.... the header is still there

i asked for all questions concerning my mods to be made on my site..

as far as the fix for your situation, you must go into the admin area and turn the mod on.

you will need to create one or use a cms to merge your smf forum into..

this looks great on my Default theme.
Would like to get it to work on my Babylon and Classic themes. Any idea how I can accomplish that?
I tried to look at the index.template.php files for those themes and the stuff that needs to be edited isn't there (at least that I could find)

Am really not asking Qs abt help with the mod, am i? 

I jus need to know sth b4 i download and install this seeming quite useful mod. My Q is: "After removing the header, will i still be able at future date to put it back in place if i want?"

Pls know i will not be offended if u refuse to answer but wld definitely be pleased if u do.

you can if you take the time and learn how to read an xml file, and open the mod package and undo what the mod does. it isnt that hard, and you will gain a skill in doing so.
