I have my website developed in php. Users can login in my website. I want to use SMF as a forum with my website.

But I dont want users login twice, once in my site and to use forum login again in forum.

They should have single login for both website and forum.

How can I do it??

If you use a CMS for your website, you can find CMS Bridge that will integrate your website with your forum. You can find all the bridges at http://download.simplemachines.org/?bridges

Other than that, I can provide no further help.

You saying I can't integrate unless I have a CMS? I also have a custom built site with its own username and password fields. SMF is only a part of the site, but I want to utilize SMF login for the whole site. Is it possible without a CMS hook?

I got the answer to my question...if using CMS, use the integration hooks in SMF. For a customized web site use the SSI.php scripts to login users.
