This is a mod I wrote so that I could avoid searching for members by name, copying their profile URL, typing out the URL bbcode, pasting the URL and typing the particular user's name in to boot.

I wanted to just be able to type [uid]username[/uid] and have an instant profile link.  So that is exactly what this mod does.

Yes this is a good idea.

And i have already saw one mod of same kind.

And this will be good if there is compatibility with user account no also. like uid = 1.
