Simple Machines offers a few tools that you may need after, during or before conversion to SMF. These tools are most likely optional and just fix minor issues that our converter script just isn't able to easily and do not happen in every case.

Fix Attachment Thumbnails and dimensions

This tool will correct bad or missing attachment thumbnails as well as the dimensions of an attachment. This only applies to images in messages.

Fix High category IDs

This tool will correct High category IDs from some forum software that uses high ids for their categories.
When running this tool you will want to only run the first step, which prepares the database to accept larger IDs, then run the conversion, after the conversion run the rest of the steps.
