For the past 1-2 month my forum has getting more and more slowly to load. Now people are even complaining they only get a white page or a now show.

An few exampels:
Page created in 6.12 seconds with 24 queries.
Page created in 22.859 seconds with 19 queries.
Page created in 53.403 seconds with 25 queries.
Page created in 43.399 seconds with 24 queries.

I have no clue on what to do or how to fix it   :(   I've talked it with some of my members and one suggested to start all over, witch I ofcourse would not want to do.

In my oppinion I would say it is a mysql database issue, but I could be wrong!!
I've got a backup of the mysql database through my host account login and the file size is (size=3.84 MB (4,027,967 byte)) But if I want to upload the same file, it says, max size 20xx kbs
I also have the backup file through the forum AP, witch is (size=3.97 MB (4,167,514 byte).
This is just if someone wants to know.

I've found the post saying that I need to add these 3 links.

First off it would be recommended for security reasons to upgrade to the latest 1.1.x version as soon as possible.

Looking through your information and site.
You are using TinyPortal which will add a few queries.  However I can't see anything that should cause that.

I suspect it is probably a host issue.  Is your database on localhost? or is it external eg mysql223.secureserver.net
Try and see if you can ask your host to move your database to a different server.

To put it in it's simplest terms, your host is rubbish.

Might be that the host is rubbish, but I've never had any issues before.
I run 2 test forums next to the main, and they're not having same problem (running everything on each mysql db).
Reguarding upgrading to 1.1.4, yeah tried that but didn't work. Perhaps I've did it the wrong way (every single time  :o  )  But it's running, well it did untill these problems started.

Note the server name is "secureserver.net". That means it's GoDaddy. I'm guessing you are using their shared hosting? If so, be warned that it is widely considered to be awful and you'll get these problems as the server you are on gets ever more packed and the other sites on the server grow and fight for resources.

My 2 test forums doesn't have these issues. But ofcourse they're not that old or packed with mods like the main forum are.

Anyway, if I want to change the mysql for the forum, what db backup should I use ? The one I get from the host or the one from the AP in forum ? Furthermore, how do I recreate the forum with these files ?

Sorry for all these questions !!

You can use whatever method is easiest/best for you to create the backup and when and where you want to use it.  I personally would take a backup generated from phpMyAdmin.

How do I move my SMF board to a different host?
How do I save my SMF board?
How do I save the database data?
How do I restore the database data?
