I'm sure I'm just not finding it, but I was told there is a mod for locating members by general locations. Is this possible? Trying to set up a series of painting demonstrations and it would be very helpful if I could get an approximate idea of how many members are from a particular geographical area. That way we could determine which areas could support them. Any info in this regard would help. As I said, I'm just not finding it on my own. Probably not putting in the right search parameters.

Thanks for your patience.

if such a mod exists i dont think it would be that accurate as ip addresses are randomly assigned and not always kept in a certain area.

That was my thought, but the former owner of the forum thought she had seen the mod. I'm just wondering if there is a way to get an approximate tally of members by region. I'm going to ask members in a newsletter how many are in my area, but there's no guarantee they'll open it #1 & #2 they may be afraid of spam and just not respond at all. We're actually going to offer decent prizes to people willing to attend so it would be a good thing for them, but I have to admit I'm amazed at how even people offering something are often unwilling to give their names let alone anything more personal. Like I'm going to take a $1500 class from someone who won't give their hxxp:name.lol [nonactive] We do have a board for introducing yourself by state. Maybe I can use that to start.

If anyone has suggestions I would appreciate it.

I would try searching the customization site like this:
