Issue with PHP 8.1

Hi there

I read an earlier post about a similar issue.

I have smf 2.019 and use the default theme. I am getting the below after updating to PHP 8.1. An update to 2.1x is on the cards but not right now. Any help is appreciated. Thank you

The answer is simple : SMF 2.0.19 does not support php 8.1

Solution: stay on PHP 8.0 or upgrade to SMF version 2.1
