Hello community

I have recently had these errors appearing in the smf 2.1.4 error log, regularly.

You cannot view this attachment.

I can quickly have over 100 entries in the log, always for the file register.php

What do you think about it and should we be worried ?

As it can be multiples adresses, i blocked the ip address range 52.130.252.xxx [nofollow] with htaccess but I would not want to block a legitimate visitor at the same time ...

What would you do?

Thanks in advance.

That looks a lot like a Microsoft IP address to me, could be someone abusing some Microsoft service, or could be a dumb crawler just randomly hammering in urls. Since it errors out, it's not really doing any damage though, simply an annoyance.

How you can help SMF

Ok, thank you.

In any way, with htaccess the problem is resolved.
