Mod's dont instal

Hello! I have a problem on the forum - it won't let me access the package overview, nor does it allow me to install a mod. I'm sending you an image of the error in a private message. Thank you.

What is the complete error? In your error log you should have some more details.

When I try to add a mod to the forum, it only gives me this error. I can't even see the list of installed mods. That's all it shows regarding the issue.

What about the error log as asked above by Diego? If you can't get to the error log, can you check the server error log? Another thing, are the mods that you are trying to install compatible with your Smf version?

The forum has been running for 14 years, and everything has been working perfectly until now. Since I moved the domain to another hosting provider, this issue with the error emerged. Additionally, there's a problem with IP addresses showing as 0.0.0.0. Many users are experiencing this issue, and they are blocked from performing any actions on the forum.

So, yeah...  smf 2.0.19 does not support php 8.1

The ip thing is ipv6 which is also not fully supported in 2.0.x

Whatevet MAY have been running in the past has no bearing on what your system is CURRENTLY running...

Upgrade to smf 2.1.4

I have the option on the hosting to initiate an automatic upgrade to 2.1.4, and I also have the option to revert PHP to 7.1. Will anything bad happen if I click to do it automatically on my hosting?

Don't ever use automated upgrades.
Always upgrade using the instructions in our upgrade faq.

You can switch php to a lower version for now, but that's a temp "fix" and won't fix your ipv6 problem
