After having a memory problem when installing packages I was pointed to this thread: http://www.simplemachines.org/community/index.php?topic=482018.0

I did what was suggested and got this:

Parse error: syntax error, unexpected T_IF in /home/u458865494/public_html/Sources/Subs-Package.php on line 5

I did not change anything else nor did I delete any " or ' What could be the problem? If needed I can add the files I altered.

What a mess! Your lines are all randomly run together. What did you edit this with? Please go through and clean up the run-together lines. You don't want things like
// !!!*/// Get the data from the file and extract it.
It's not clear whether the */ is going to be recognized because of the // before it.

I suspect that once you have all the lines (and especially the comments) cleaned up, your problem will go away.

Actually I was shocked! Turned out it was my editor so I used another and the problem is solved, everything works like a charm. Thank you all!
