After upgrade, previous pics and avatars are not showing up.

My upgrade from 1.1.11  to 2.0.2 plus TP was a successful in that my database is still intact and functioning fine. I was surprised that I had no major issues considering I was coming from 1.1.11.

The only thing I am having now is that previous uploaded images as attachments in posts and members avatars are not showing up. In Firefox just the link to the attachment and in IE its the link and a square with an X. Also the "New" icon that is supposed to shows when you return to the forum if there are new posts, cannot be seen in Firefox and is the square with an X in it in IE.

Is the path to these images messed up.

What do I need to to to fix this?

Try uploading repair_settings.php and repairing the paths.

Normally when the "New" icon is gone it's because the icon doesn't exist in the language that you have set as default for the forum.  Set your forum language to English and if it appears then, you just need to copy it to your language files.  You can check the path usually but right clicking on the square with the x and displaying properties.
