Heather. I don't think that you have read the above requests properly. The feature request was a bit more elaborate than that.

Maybe i just don't understand.  I thought you were asking if there was anyway that people could post items without showing their name, or keeping their profile hidden?

I was thinking of something similar:  I want my members to have an additional page in their profile for their address and phone numbers.  Clearly some folks might not want this to be available to anyone that happens by, so I was thinking there might be a way to work in an option to show that info to either 1) all members or 2) only people on their Buddy List.  I have no idea if the Buddy List can be co-opted in this manner, but it seemed like a way to piggyback those permissions off an existing function (in 1.1 anyway).  But if such a thing is possible, I'm guessing it'd be a small step to make it apply to the whole profile, and not just to the specific fields I want to add.  I'll probably be looking at that somewhere down the road, but I'm no coding wiz, so we'll see.  If anyone has any thoughts along this line, I'd be curious to hear them.
