Marking Alerts Read Bug?

I have 6 alerts up top so I click on the Alerts button and it shows the 6 alerts so I click on "Mark Read" and the attached happened and the alerts are still there. Not sure if this is a bug or just a one time bugger! ;)

You cannot view this attachment.

Edit: FYI this happened in the mods section. ;)

It's a site thing, specific to simplemachines.org - Some things don't yet work perfectly when you aren't actually on the forum. In your example, you are outside of the forum, looking at the modsite.  (Another example of a similar issue is trying to log in with 2FA, won't work unless you are looking at the forum index first.)

I couldn't reproduce it though there's definitely some hijinx with cross-domain requests. I thought @SleePy nailed the bugs though?
