sms 1.1 probleme with mail Content-Transfer-Encoding: quoted-printable

I just install smf 1.1, and i have problemes with mails. There is spécials caracteres. I did not have any probleme with smf 1.05, I also have no probleme with smf 1.1 in english language, the probleme is just with the french language.

Hi, we've got this problem too for french language for rc2, but if it (maybe) seems to resolve the problem, i haven't got anymore mail notification in gmail and caramail  messagers...

What's the matter? (really urgent, to can deliver the translation pack to daniel...big thanks)

Are you sure? Cause me i don't receive any mails on caramail and gmail but some others testers received the mail on gmail and without problems on them so....

I did this trick to my site, but somehow my problem is still not solved, the email heading is like this:

Seems like the character set is iso-8859-1, even though I have modified my forum/Themes/defaults/index.english.php to:

I'm glad that I'm not only one with this problem. But I have tried every advice on this forum and there is still no change.
Actually, after upgrading from RC2 to RC3, even users who use to read mail correctly with their clients, now have problems.

I have the same problems after upgrading to RC3

Further more, I have more problems with login. Users who have special character in their usernames (Slovenian language with č,š,ž) cannot login anymore. Their first login attempt gives them error and second let them in. Totally weird.

If anyone has a solution to this, please post it, because currently half of our users cannot login normally
